Critical Race Theory and Adult & Higher Education - FREE Workshop

Critical Race Theory is a deep examination of race and the essential role it has played in the shaping of political, educational, legal, and financial institutions. Critical Race Theory analyses what has happened to determine why we are where we are presently. It begs the question, “How did we get here?” It interrogates the system in which we live in and how race and power, or lack thereof has affected our present and prior zeitgeists.

In EPDI’s Critical Race Theory and Adult/Higher Education workshop, participants will engage in a discussion of CRT and its application in a course: how it should affect curriculum content, lesson planning, and inform the instructor-student relationship.
